What I Learned
Three months after I graduated I opened a professional speaking and consulting company that utilized the business studies along with the experiential and adventure based education learning to build high impact programs for groups around the world. I've written 16 books (so far) on topics ranging from teambuilding and facilitating learning to personal development and strategic planning... all topics I was introduced to in my 4 years of Acadia's BRM.
My Acadia Highlights
AU Rec is fantastic. I remember getting wREC'd at the Axe Pub on Thursdays with a table reserved just for our recreation class... I remember great camping trips, rock climbing and canoeing adventures... I remember innovative programs like our own Rec Orientation Week, delivering a winter camp for local Grade 6's on environmental learning... and of course the laughs... which have continued as I travel Canada and meet up again and again with alumni! Fantastic 4 year investment, with long term dividends.
