What I Learned
Looking for a great place to study recreation, then look no further. I found that the Recreation Management degree helped prepare me for the real world by instilling a number of core values in me such as communication, leadership, teamwork and most importantly, professionalism. My degree gave me everything I needed to be competitive and successful in today's workforce through a number of practical hands-on opportunities in and out of the classroom. On top of this, the Recreation Management program was a home away from home, where I forged a number of friendships and became part of an awesome family of recreation professionals.
My Acadia Highlights
Looking back at my time at Acadia, I can't pinpoint any one time that stands out more than another because they were all memorable, from the jitters of the first day to the sadness of leaving it all behind after graduation. I had the opportunity to share a number of lifelong memories with my classmates and faculty, from working together on assignments and camping on the weekends, to having suppers with professors. It all helped positively shape who and what I have become today.
