CODE 1100: Emergency Care

The Administrative Assistant will register new students in the correct section of CODE 1100 (DO NOT REMOVE YOURSELF FROM THIS COURSE).  You must complete the Standard First Aid and CPR level C.  Please provide the Administrative Assistant with a copy of your certificate for your file.  This certificate must be submitted prior to the exam period in the semester that you are enrolled in CODE 1100.  The Administrative Assistant will submit a "P" (pass) if the certificate is submitted on-time.  If it is not submitted on-time then an "F" (fail) will be submitted.  Non-credit courses do not affect your CGPA.  The "F" (fail) will remain until the certificate is received and then a change of grade will be submitted to change the grade to "P" (pass).

The calendar states:

1. "Standard First Aid" and CPR level C or approved equivalent must be completed prior to the second year of study. Students will be required to maintain current certification during their second, third and fourth year.

2. CODE 1100 must be completed during the fist year in the program.

3. Students should be aware that there will be extra fees required to complete several of the non-credit degree requirements and courses which have extensive technical skill acquisition components.
